Welcome to the Dresden Club

The three of you have some unnatural issues, and Wayne's uncle to help hi nephew made some investigation and found out a certain Dresden in Chicago created groups throughout the world bringing together "special" people who could not speak freely with mundanes.

The group has several reasons to exist :

1- Find a safe place to talk about supernatural world and problems that goes with it.
2- Keep a watch on the group sector for any major non natural event in order to report it
3- Send a Mayday in case something is coming for group's member(s)

Wayne's uncle is your contact, he is not part of the group and will not interfere unless you ask him to, but it better be wrth.

So I leave you to share about your characters between yourselves, even though creation is not entirely finished.

my character is Wayne. im just finish high school and on training for GPSTC (OFFICER STAFF). well i got inspiration from my uncle who is ex chief.

Gwen moved to Atlanta within the last 6 months. She is trying to be a part of the supernatural and mundane community. She struggles to fit into the mundane community but is active around the theatre.

Wayne comes in with an interesting look.

"Guys I think, I got lead on my father. I found these bills in his old book. i don't know what is it but it have same address on it. here! i think we definitely going to find something about it there"

Gwen is sitting cross-legged on a table, widdling a stick down to the form of a wand.
That is good news Wayne. What is "Press for Success"? Do you know?
She makes a few extra cuts and then packets the wand and knife away. It all goes into backpack.

Gwen is a redheaded girl, with a swimmer's physique. She is dressed in a a tight top and baggy pants

Wayne shrug he's in the black leather jacket in his hand he got black helmet for his (uncle) motorcycle outside"To tell the truth. I have no idea. At least we know it from the address that it's in Downtown. We could go for a movie night if found nothing there :) "

Oh my mister Ford, are you asking me out of a date? Gwen acts like a victorian lady. Laughing she goes out to her own motorcycle. She stores her backpack in the sidecar and takes out her own helmet.

"Depend on can you catch up on me old lady? :) we will meet at that the Burger Queen in downtown we go last time and we can start from there. Same rule who go last pay the rest

Wayne smiles laughingly and quickly hops on his bike

While Wayne is swerving through the city like a salmon through the water, Gwen moves with the traffic. Old lady my ass! she mutters

Without too much surprise Wayne arrives just a little ahead of Gwen near the Cleaner shop.

Gwen dismounts her bike, removes her helmet and shakes out her red hair. What is this place?

Wayne who arrived before stand front of building next to his bike

Gwen holds the door for Wayne in mock gentleman like style. Your letter, your show.
She grins. I'm just along for the ride

Wayne snap from his thought. Regardless of how he acts outside. He is quite nervous inside This is the real first time he got a lead about his father. His mom never told him about his father except for a sad smile.


"Wheew, don't get to high hope man." he take a deep breath and mutter quietly to himself

then he walk inside before gwen

There si a little bell on the counter, nobody seems to pay attention to the new comer.

Wayne looks back at Gwen with a nervous eye and quietly ask

"Should I.... you know, openly told them this belongs to my long-lost dad. and we want to know why he is here?"

Gwen shrugs. What do you have to loose? Be honest here. I think it will get you furthest

Wayne go to the counter and ring the bell. if anyone come, He will show the receipt and ask

"Hi (Sir or Ma'am), Could you look at these receipts? I would like to know who is the owner of the receipts or where can I find him? Well, long story short he is my dad and he is missing. wonder if you can help me? "

"Err.. Well.., Could you at least please tell me who works at that time. I'm sure my dad should be someone recognizable. please.. I have no clue left anymore". Wayne wanna try at least asking one more time

damn, I should saw this coming. shouldn't got hope high up at first he thought in disappointed

Gwen is leaning at the doorframe.
But you do have somewhere where you store all that stuff. Including the back shelf, where there are no matching records in your system, right? We could see if you have something that matches that thicket. Right?
Now she joins Wayne at the front desk.

Everything has been destroyed since we changed system. I can't tell you more, I am merely an employee.

Damn.... Who sent you that letter?

"Told you, I found this back in my old garage. I guese this as best as we got"

Wayne make gesture that he gave up

The sound of the door chime interrupts the conversation. Wayne and Gwen turn to see a suited up man come closer to the counter, where he leaves another suit.

"Good morning, Kurt. Do you think I can have this one ready for Friday?", he says with a British accent.

He then notices the couple.

"Wait a second, I know you. From our... ehm... book club, right? Mycroft Atkinson", he says.

Gwen knows better than giving away her full name to a strange creature that frequents the supernatural scene. Jasons Café and bookstore is the local accorded neutral grounds. You can call me Gwen, and yes I prefer Jason's English breakfast tea.

You know this place? The owner perhaps? My friend here is looking for someone with a better memory than their computer.

Mycroft slightly bows before Gwen with an old fashioned style.

"But, of course, madam. Kurt, be a good boy and go get mr. Zimmerman, will you?", he asks the employee.

You all can see a furtive, but real evil look and a grin just before he wrote on a paper an address.

He'd be in underground Atlanta right now, here's the address.

"Cool Mycroft, I didn't know you familiar with this place." Trevor have a big joy when He know that Mycroft be able to help him

Then he turns to Gwen and raises one of his eye browns.
"Hah See, I told you before that our new friend can help us with this"

"Oh, so the old chap is not in the house? Alright, thank you, Kurt", Mycroft checks the address before handing the paper to Wayne."Are you in a hurry then? You look like this is some sort of emergency", he kindly asks the teenager.

Underground Atlanta? Where had Gwen heard that term before?

Since you're in Atlanta, you know underground Atlanta

Underground Atlanta is a part of town who is underground, at one time it was regular street, but for some reason they reconstructed the roads at the level of second floor, so that now a part of the town is literally underground. It is forbidden to vehicules and there are a number of shops and cafés, it is pretty nice, and a little strange as well.

Well, lets go to that adress.
Mycroft, I can offer you a ride if you want.

"Sure, if I could be of any help, it's always a pleasure to lend a hand to a fellow member of our club."

"Okay, Let me explain it quickly. You know that I always curious about my missing dad right? Last night I found this!". Show Mycroft the receipt

"So I guess you can piece it together why we here right. Almost turn our back if you now show up."

Gwen looks at the shop that is the given address. What is this place?

As her teachers has instructed, Gwen lets her wizardly senses reach out to the door. She is sensing for boobytraps and other enchantments.

Do you guys know what the shop owner would be doing here?

Mycroft curiously looks around when they get to that part of the city they call Underground Atlanta. He wonders why on earth someone would decide to completely cover a street with concrete, but he's seen Americans do worse, so he mentally shrugs and just keeps up the pace.

Once they reach their destination, it is Gwen who opens the door. Wayne has been too silent, maybe this is just emotionally too hard for him.

"I'll be damned if I know", he answers to Gwen."The door is open, so let's proceed. Hello? Can we get in?", he yells at the inside, waiting a couple of seconds before stepping in anyway.

There is no button to ring the bell, neither is there any knockers.

What do you do ?

Seeing the youngster is still in some kind of introspective mood, Mycroft just knocks on the door with bare knuckles.

"Hello? Is there anybody in?", he inquires.

A man approach the group "Hello. Is everything all right?"

"Hello, good man. We are looking for a friend of ours. Do you perhaps know who lives here and whether they're home?", Mycroft responds to the stranger.
